Broadway Dance Lab

My creation Body Talk had a 2nd production! On July 1st, Teatro San Diego presented Broadway Dance Lab: an evening of ‘Storytelling Through Physical Narrative’.

Julio Catano-Yee, Executive Director of Teatro San Diego, created an evening of performance that highlighted 3 choreographer’s work. In addition to Body Talk, works were created by Valerie Salgado and Caryn Glass. After our combined pieces were performed by a dynamic company of musical theatre artists, the evening culminated with a teaser performance of Teatro San Diego’s upcoming production of The Wiz. A true agent of community and support, Teatro awarded scholarships to the young artists who performed “Brand New Day” to encourage their continued education in the arts.
